Last summer just before I found out I was pregnant, I took my older girls on a small vacation in Wildwood, New Jersey. As a child every summer we would go to Wildwood and as any vacation, it was some of the best memories I have. We would stay for a week and it was an awesome trip with bike riding, mini golfing, water parks, rides, beautiful beaches, pool, and of course the fresh fruit truck in the mornings. Taking my kids was fun and relaxing. This year with trying to stay on track financially and staying within our budget, I thought a family vacation was out of reach. I was wrong. I was able to squeeze $500 out for me and the girls to get away for a little trip. Although we didn’t go to Wildwood this time. We went to Seaside Heights, New Jersey and it was so much fun! This chart shows how all 3 of us went away on a 4 day vacation and enjoyed ourselves. This would have also worked with up to 3 children. We brought some food like Mac & Cheese cups, sandwiches and yogurts to cut down on the food bill.
Included free breakfast every morning, pool access,
Beach passes and WIFI
2 nights of rides about 5 rides per child, per night
Played mostly quarter stands (and won!) but played some regular ones too
Food with Ice Cream
Pizza and mozzarella sticks for one night. The girls got ice cream all 3 nights.
