Yesterday was The William Hill Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park Racetrack. It was a huge event as it is every year but this year was special on another level. American Pharoah the first Triple Crown winning thoroughbred since 1978 was there. The superstar horse raced and won the 12th race of the day as over 60,000 people watched including my husband. They gave out hats at the door and it was packed. It was over 90 degrees in Oceanport yesterday so I decided to remain indoors with the kids! Inspired by this race and amazing horse I did this cute DIY Horseshoe Chalkboard Wall Décor that costs about $5 to make. Don’t forget to pin it for later!
